June Rucking Challenge
Load your ruck with as much Peanut Butter (or canned goods) as you can handle and ruck the donation to your local food bank.
More details below.
Let's do this
As the summer begins, many kids lose access to the regular meals they are used to receiving at school and food banks have an increased need for supplies. Peanut Butter is usually on most "items we really need" lists for food banks.
So, this month, your challenge is to do something awesome for your community while getting in some great rucking miles.
In addition to your regular ruck weight, put as much Peanut Butter (or canned goods) as you can manage into your ruck. Then, head off to your local food bank.
The beauty of this challenge is that the ruck to the food bank will suck, but the ruck back to the end point will feel so much better!
Hard Core Ruckers: 10-Miles Round Trip
Intermediate: 6-Miles Round Trip
Newbies: 3-5 Miles Round Trip
This month’s challenge is sponsored by Heavy Drop Training.
Heavy Drop Training is a 6 week training program utilizing sandbags and weighted rucks, along with accountability via an assigned virtual battle buddy.
Two versions include Ruck and Body Weight or Sandbag & Ruck version allowing for any level of fitness to participate.
Train physically and mentally for your next event or whatever life throws at you. Get comfortable with the uncomfortable, because no one cares what you can do fresh.
Heavy Drop Training will be giving away 5 free registrations to their program at the end of this challenge!
