November Rucking Challenge
The Challenge:
Load your ruck up heavy. Ruck to your polling station. Vote.
- Variations for mail-in voters below. -
Let's do this
November 5th is election day in the USA. The challenge for this month is to load your ruck extra heavy (to remind you of the weight of burden we carry in a representative democracy), then ruck over to your local polling station, stand in line with your ruck on, and cast your vote.
If you happen to have voted already, or are an international rucker, we’ll provide some variations on the challenge below.
Weight:
Heavy.
Recommended: 45lb/30lb
Distance:
Rucker’s Choice. We recommend the long route.
Variations:
If you voted already, load up heavy and ruck over to a polling station (or where one normally is located) on election day (or any day in November). Once there, accumulate 5 minutes in a plank (with your ruck on) to represent waiting to cast your vote.
If you’re an international rucker, load up heavy and ruck over to a government building. Once there, perform 50 reps of whatever PT movement best embodies your system of governance.
Ruck Clubs:
Get the club together and perform the challenge.
